Conduit Outlet Body for 2in Trade Size

The Killark OLB-6 is an aluminum conduit outlet body designed for a 2in trade size with a 90-degree connection orientation. It suits electrical installations that require a flat-back LB-style body for pulling or splicing conductors in rigid metal or intermediate metal conduit systems.

Sustained Load Behaviour in Hazardous Locations

Rated for Class I Division 2 and Zone 2 hazardous locations, the powder-coated aluminum body resists corrosion during continuous exposure. The 70 cu in capacity provides ample space for conductor bending without crowding, supporting reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

Upgrade from Smaller Hub Sizes or Non-Rated Bodies

This outlet body replaces smaller hub sizes when a 2in trade size is required by code or conduit schedule. The jump is worth it when hazardous-location rating and a compatible OL-60 cover are needed for a complete, compliant assembly.

Questions about this item

Does the powder-coated aluminum body run cooler than bare metal when conduit is packed to the 70 cu in capacity?

The powder-coated aluminum finish helps dissipate heat from conductors inside the 70 cu in body during continuous operation.

Which cover must I already have to seal this LB body after pulling wires?

The compatible cover is the OL-60, which threads onto the 2 in hub to complete the enclosure.

Will this 2 in threaded hub connect directly to my existing rigid metal conduit without adapters?

Yes, the 2 in threaded hub matches standard rigid metal conduit threads for a direct connection.
