Automatic Dispensing for High-Traffic Washrooms

The Kimberly-Clark Professional 34349 is a motion-activated paper towel dispenser designed for commercial washrooms. It accepts hardwound roll towels and uses a proprietary Scott Pro system. The wall-mounted unit holds one roll plus a stub roll to reduce run-outs during peak periods. Touch-free operation helps limit cross-contamination in busy environments.

Stub Roll and Proprietary Paper System

The integrated stub roll feature allows a partial roll to be loaded alongside a fresh one, minimising waste and ensuring continuous supply. Dispensing is limited to Scott Pro branded hardwound towels with a 7-1/2 inch width and 1-3/4 inch core diameter. This proprietary format means standard universal rolls are not compatible with the mechanism.

Wall Mounting and Dimensional Clearance

Before ordering, verify that the installation wall can accommodate a unit measuring 16-1/2 inches high by 12-5/8 inches wide by 9-1/8 inches deep. Confirm the mounting surface suits the supplied fixings and that the motion sensor will not be obstructed by nearby fixtures. Check that your towel supply matches the required Scott Pro 25637, 25702 or 43959 model numbers.

Questions about this item

How often will the stub-roll mechanism need to be cleared or replaced?

The dispenser holds one main roll plus a stub roll; the stub-roll feature reduces waste by using the leftover portion before switching, so the mechanism itself only needs attention during routine refill cycles when the main roll is exhausted.

What capacity limit is reached first during continuous high-traffic use?

The unit accommodates a single hardwound roll up to 7-1/2 in. wide with a 1-3/4 in. core; once that roll and the stub roll are depleted the dispenser stops dispensing until it is reloaded.

Does the motion-activated sensor draw noticeable power or generate heat when the unit runs all day?

The sensor is battery-operated and activates only when hands are detected; it consumes minimal power and produces no measurable heat during extended daily operation.
