Scott Control Hardwound 580 ft rolls

This pack contains six hardwound paper towel rolls, each 580 ft long, designed for commercial dispensers. The 1-ply white paper feeds from a 1 3/4 in core and suits high-traffic washrooms or breakrooms where continuous dispensing is preferred. Buyers who need folded or multifold towels for non-proprietary dispensers should look elsewhere.

Installation fits proprietary dispensers

The rolls load into compatible dispensers such as models 47091, 47092 and 47259, and match Grainger part numbers 60HV98, 60HV99 and 60HW01. Misalignment occurs when the core is not seated fully on the spindle, causing the paper to bind or tear during dispensing. No tools are required beyond opening the dispenser cover.

Proprietary system limits roll choice

The 8 in roll width and continuous sheet length are fixed by the Scott Control dispenser design, so only matching hardwound rolls work. Core diameter and paper width cannot be changed without replacing the dispenser itself. Roll length is capped at 580 ft per unit, determining refill frequency.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the towel feeds correctly after loading it into a dispenser?

Pull the tail and check that a single 8‑inch wide sheet releases smoothly from the 1¾‑inch core without tearing.

What comes in the case and what must I order separately?

The case contains six 580‑foot hardwound rolls; a compatible dispenser such as model 47091, 47092 or 47259 is sold separately.

Which roll length should I choose for a high‑traffic restroom?

Each roll provides 580 feet of continuous 1‑ply paper, so the six‑roll case delivers the longest service interval for heavy use.
