Secure transport for varied cargo

This logistic ratchet strap provides a reliable method for securing loads during transport. The ratchet adjustment mechanism allows precise tightening around cargo of different shapes and sizes. It is suited for anyone needing to tie down equipment, materials or general freight on trailers, trucks or roof racks. The 20 foot length offers reach for larger items.

Polyester webbing with steel end fittings

The heavy-duty polyester webbing resists stretching and abrasion while the steel cargo tie-down end provides a strong anchor point. These materials work together to maintain tension without slipping during transit. The blue colour aids visibility when checking securement at a glance. No additional tools are required to operate the ratchet handle.

1000lb capacity within North American standards

The strap is rated for a maximum load of 1000 pounds and manufactured to meet CVSA guidelines, DOT regulations and WSTDA recommended standards. It handles typical household, landscaping and light commercial loads within that limit. Loads exceeding the rated capacity or requiring specialised certifications fall outside its intended use.

Questions about this item

How often should the polyester webbing be inspected or replaced after heavy use?

Inspect the webbing before each use for cuts, abrasion or UV damage; replace it immediately if any fibres are broken or the strap shows permanent elongation.

What is the maximum working load before the ratchet mechanism reaches its limit?

The strap is rated for a maximum load of 1000 pounds; do not exceed this figure during tie-down operations.

Does the steel ratchet generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day tensioning?

The steel ratchet operates mechanically without a motor, so it produces minimal noise and no measurable heat during continuous use.
