KingCamp KE2402 Portable Shower Tent

The KingCamp KE2402 is a portable privacy shelter built for solo campers, beachgoers and road-trip travellers who need a quick place to shower, change or use a portable toilet. Its freestanding dome frame clips together in roughly three minutes and packs into the supplied carry bag for easy transport.

Silver-coated fabric with UPF 50+ and 1000mm

The silver-coated polyethylene blocks UV rays and provides full visual privacy while the 1000mm-rated floor and rainfly keep the interior dry during showers or sudden rain. Mesh windows and a zippered door allow airflow to manage condensation without sacrificing seclusion.

Six-pole clip frame with ten stakes and four

Six fiberglass poles attach via clips for rapid assembly, while ten stakes and four guylines anchor the 65.75-inch square footprint against wind. Dual ceiling hooks, side hooks, three internal mesh pockets, a clothesline and an external towel pocket organise toiletries and wet gear for daily convenience.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the KingCamp KE2402 shower tent and which step is often missed?

Unpack all components, assemble the six fiberglass poles, attach them to the tent body using the clip mechanism, secure the rainfly, then stake down the tent with all ten stakes; the step people skip is staking every guyline for wind stability.

What parts of the KingCamp KE2402 will need replacement after repeated use?

The fiberglass poles can splinter over time, the zipper may wear from sand exposure, and the 1000 mm waterproof coating on the polyethylene floor and rainfly will degrade with UV exposure and abrasion.

What is the first limitation you hit when using the KingCamp KE2402 for long periods in direct sun?

The silver-coated fabric provides UPF 50+ protection, but the single mesh window and one door limit airflow, so interior heat builds up faster than moisture can vent during sustained high temperatures.
