Direct replacement for GE Mini Dash-Solar 8000I

This KingSener 2016989-002 lithium-ion battery delivers 11.1 volts and 1.85 ampere-hours, matching the original DR203 specifications. It fits the 6291-A, B11811, 8388 and 8387-R part numbers without modification, restoring mobile power to the medical device. The 21 watt-hour capacity supports extended monitoring sessions away from mains supply.

Stable output with standard Li-ion thermal profile

High-quality cells and an integrated protection circuit maintain consistent voltage under load, preventing sudden shutdowns during patient recording. Normal operation generates minimal heat, and the pack does not require active cooling in the monitor chassis. Following the supplier break-in routine of two to three full charge and discharge cycles helps the cells reach rated capacity.

No extra hardware or software included

The package contains only the battery itself; no chargers, cables, mounting brackets or diagnostic utilities are bundled. Installation is a direct swap with the original pack, so no firmware updates or configuration tools are needed. Users who need a multi-bay charger or remote monitoring software must source those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the KingSener 2016989-002 battery in the GE Mini Dash-Solar 8000I monitor, and what step is often missed?

Match the part numbers 2016989-002 and 2031069-003 to your original battery, then insert it until it clicks; the step often missed is doing 2 or 3 full charge and discharge cycles from low current before regular use.

What maintenance will this 11.1V 1.85Ah Li-ion battery need later?

If removed for storage, charge it above 80% at least once a month; avoid hot or humid conditions, do not leave the AC adapter connected continuously, and never disassemble, crush, puncture or dispose of it in fire or water.

What limit appears first during sustained use of this 21Wh replacement battery?

The 1.85Ah capacity sets the runtime ceiling; continuous discharge will deplete the 21Wh energy store, and keeping the adapter plugged in while running can damage the cells and shorten overall life.
