Compatible replacement battery

The KingSener B31N1729 is a new lithium-ion replacement battery built for the ASUS VivoBook S15 S530 and S530F series. It matches the original 11.52V voltage and 42WH capacity so the notebook recognises it immediately. Installation requires no modifications because the physical layout is identical to the factory pack.

Sustained discharge behaviour

High-quality cells and a reliable PCB deliver stable voltage throughout the discharge curve rather than a brief peak followed by a rapid drop. The supplier confirms the full charge capacity meets or exceeds the 42WH design rating. Conditioning the pack with two or three full charge and discharge cycles from low current helps the cells settle to their true runtime.

Practical limits of the 42WH pack

Runtime scales with workload; heavy multi-core tasks or bright screen settings will deplete the 42WH reserve faster than light office use. The pack is not a high-capacity upgrade, so users needing significantly longer unplugged time should look elsewhere. Storage above 80 % charge and avoidance of hot or humid environments preserve long-term health.
