Wall-Mount Clawfoot Tub Faucet

The KINGSTON BRASS AE39T2 is a wall-mounted clawfoot tub faucet finished in polished brass. It suits homeowners fitting a traditional freestanding bath where supply lines enter through the wall. The two-handle layout allows independent control of hot and cold water for precise temperature adjustment.

California Proposition 65 Compliance

This product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers in California must be informed of these hazards before purchase. The regulation does not ban the item but requires clear disclosure at point of sale.

Polished Brass Build and 38 Inch Reach

The polished brass construction resists corrosion and suits period bathroom designs. A 38 inch centre-to-centre spread matches standard clawfoot tub drilling patterns. Wall mounting keeps the deck clear for cleaning and preserves the tub’s original silhouette.

Questions about this item

Which wall-mount clawfoot tub faucet version should I choose for a 38-inch tub?

The AE39T2 model is specified as a 38-inch wall-mount 2-handle tub faucet in polished brass, matching that tub width directly.

What does the 38-inch measurement mean once the faucet is installed on the tub wall?

It indicates the centre-to-centre spread of the hot and cold handles, so the faucet body spans 38 inches across the tub rim for proper alignment.

How does the California Proposition 65 warning affect the brass material used in this faucet?

The warning flags that the brass alloy contains a chemical known to California to cause cancer and reproductive harm, a disclosure required for many brass plumbing components.
