Wall-Mount Clawfoot Tub Faucet
The Kingston Brass AE39T5 is a wall-mount clawfoot tub faucet finished in oil rubbed bronze. It suits homeowners fitting a traditional freestanding bath where supply lines emerge from the wall. The two-handle design provides separate hot and cold control for precise temperature adjustment.
Installation and Common Issues
Installation follows standard wall-mount practice with 3-38 in. centres, so align the supply rough-ins before tiling. The oil rubbed bronze finish shows water spots and fingerprints easily; wipe dry after each use to maintain appearance. California Proposition 65 warnings note chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm, so use lead-free solder and wash hands after handling.
Capacity and Headroom
The faucet delivers adequate flow for filling a standard clawfoot tub at normal household pressure. It lacks an integrated diverter or hand-shower outlet, so buyers wanting shower functionality must add a separate riser and valve. The two-handle mechanism has no thermostatic cartridge, meaning temperature can drift if supply pressure changes.
