Quarter-turn angle stop valve with sweat and compression connections for shutting off water at the source
The KINGSTON BRASS CC43202K is a quarter-turn angle stop valve designed to control water flow at the supply source. It features a 1/2" sweat inlet and a 3/8" OD compression outlet for direct connection to copper piping and fixture supply lines. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance for long-term reliability in residential plumbing installations.
As a manual plumbing valve, this product operates without electrical power, fans or moving parts that generate heat or noise. The quarter-turn mechanism requires minimal physical effort to open or close the water supply. There are no thermal characteristics, power consumption figures or acoustic ratings associated with its operation.
The valve installs between a 1/2" copper supply stub-out and a 3/8" OD compression supply line using standard soldering and compression techniques. Its compact angle-body design fits within tight cabinet spaces behind sinks or toilets. The easy-to-remove handle allows for maintenance access without disturbing the pipe connections. This valve is not suited for systems requiring automated actuation or electronic flow monitoring.

Clean the copper pipe and valve inlet, apply flux, then sweat the joint with a torch; the step often missed is removing the handle and internal cartridge before heating to prevent seal damage.
The quarter-turn cartridge and stem O-rings may eventually wear and require replacement; the handle is designed for easy removal to simplify cartridge service.
The brass body handles heat well, but the internal rubber seals and plastic cartridge components set the practical temperature ceiling before the metal shows stress.
