The Kingston Brass DR114125 is a 12-inch decorative grab bar from the Americana collection finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze. It provides a 1-1/4 inch gripping surface for secure support in classic bathroom settings. Solid brass construction ensures long-term durability and resistance to corrosion. This hardware suits homeowners seeking traditional styling with functional safety.
Mounting Hardware Included
The package supplies six 2-inch #10 Philips head screws so no separate fastener purchase is required. A 1-1/2 inch (38mm) wall clearance meets the ADA standard for accessible installation. Easy installation is supported by the included hardware and straightforward mounting design. Ensure the wall substrate can accept the supplied screws before drilling.
Verify Wall Substrate
Check that the mounting surface is solid wood blocking, studs or a rated backer board capable of holding the supplied screws. The 12-inch overall length and 1-1/4 inch outer diameter require adequate clear space on the wall. Confirm the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish matches existing fixtures in the bathroom. This grab bar is not suited for hollow drywall without proper reinforcement.
