Duchess Vessel Sink Faucet

The Kingston Brass Duchess vessel sink faucet in polished nickel is designed for installation above a vessel basin. Its tall spout provides the extra clearance required by raised bowls. The brass body and black porcelain handles deliver a traditional appearance suited to classic bathroom schemes.

Traditional bathroom upgrades

This faucet suits homeowners refreshing a period-style bathroom who need a vessel-compatible tap with a polished nickel finish. It is not intended for standard low-profile basins where the spout height would be excessive, nor for projects that require a modern minimalist lever design.

8-1/4 inch spout clearance

The decisive specification is the 8-1/4 inch spout clearance, which determines whether the faucet will clear the rim of your chosen vessel sink. Verify the bowl height and countertop thickness before purchase to ensure the spout reaches comfortably over the basin edge.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the Duchess faucet provide for a vessel sink?

The spout clearance measures 8-1/4 inches, giving the extra height needed to pair with a vessel sink.

How is the faucet mounted and what step is often missed?

It installs as a single-hole deck-mount; the step often missed is using the included mounting hardware and rubber gasket to seal the base before tightening the lock nut from below.

When should the ceramic disc cartridges behind the black porcelain handles be replaced?

Replace the cartridges if handles begin to drip or become stiff to turn; the brass body and polished nickel finish are built to last, but the internal cartridges are the wear item.
