Metropolitan Widespread Faucet

The Kingston Brass KS4460PL Metropolitan is an 8-inch widespread lavatory faucet designed for three-hole installations. Its matte black finish and brass construction suit modern bathrooms seeking a coordinated, premium appearance. The widespread design fits more spacious countertop layouts.

Brass Pop-Up and Matching Drain

A brass pop-up assembly and a matching-finish drain are included with the faucet. These components eliminate the need to source separate drain hardware and ensure a consistent matte black look across the visible plumbing fixtures. The bundled parts simplify installation for a complete setup.

Three-Hole 8-Inch Installation

This faucet requires a three-hole, 8-inch widespread mounting configuration. Buyers with single-hole or 4-inch centreset cutouts cannot use this model without modifying the countertop or sink. Verify the existing hole pattern before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the brass pop-up drain assembly need periodic replacement?

The brass pop-up drain is included and built from the same sturdy brass as the faucet body, so it is designed to last the life of the fixture without scheduled replacement.

What limits the flow rate when the faucet runs continuously?

The 8-inch widespread layout uses standard supply connections, so household water pressure and any local flow restrictors determine the maximum sustained flow.

Does the matte black finish get hot to the touch after hours of hot water use?

Brass conducts heat, so the faucet body and handles will become warm during extended hot water use, though the finish itself does not generate additional heat.
