16 GB DDR4 ECC registered DIMM for Dell PowerEdge and Precision Rack systems
Capacity 16GB
This 16 GB DDR4 registered DIMM runs at 2400 MHz with CL17 latency and 1.2 V operation. It is built for Dell PowerEdge and Precision Rack systems that require ECC registered memory. The module carries a 288-pin layout and is 100 % factory tested at speed.
It fits administrators expanding memory in Dell PowerEdge C6320, M830, R430, R830 and R930 or Precision Rack 7910 platforms. Buyers whose systems need unbuffered non-ECC modules or a different DDR generation cannot use this part.
The registered ECC design at PC4-19200 speed is the decisive specification; only motherboards that explicitly support registered DDR4 2400 with ECC will accept this module.

Align the notch on the module with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify the system recognises the full 16 GB at 2400 MHz; the step often missed is seating the module evenly so both clips engage at once.
No routine maintenance is required; if a correctable error count rises or the module fails POST, replace the stick — Kingston tests every unit at 2400 MHz before shipment.
The JEDEC-rated 1.2 V operating voltage and CL17 latency define the thermal and timing envelope; sustained writes will hit the voltage-regulated frequency ceiling before temperature becomes an issue.
