1GB DDR SDRAM module for compatible IBM systems, 184-pin PC2700 unbuffered at 2.50V
This 1GB 184-pin DDR SDRAM module runs at PC2700 speed with a 2.50V supply. It is built for IBM systems that require unbuffered non-ECC memory. The part matches IBM FRU 41P6812 and part numbers 31P8857 and 31P9123. Buyers needing ECC or registered DIMMs should look elsewhere.
The module operates at the standard DDR 333 voltage of 2.50V without a heat spreader. As an unbuffered DIMM it draws only the power required by the memory chips themselves. No active cooling or fan is included and none is specified by the manufacturer. Acoustic output is therefore limited to the system's own airflow.
No accessories, cables, brackets or software utilities are included with this memory upgrade. The package contains only the DIMM itself. Installation is a direct mechanical fit into a compatible 184-pin slot. No driver or configuration tool is required or provided.

Power off the system, open the case, align the notch on the 184-pin module with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify 1GB is detected in BIOS.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if errors appear, reseat the module or replace it with another PC2700 2.50V unbuffered DIMM matching the original specifications.
The DDR 333 (PC2700) data rate and 2.50V voltage set the maximum sustained throughput; thermal throttling is not a factor without a heat spreader.
