USB omnidirectional tabletop mic

The Kinobo 8541708509 is a compact USB microphone designed for voice chat, VoIP calls and basic dictation on Windows or Mac systems. It draws power directly from the USB bus and requires no driver installation. The omnidirectional capsule captures sound from every direction around the desk.

Upgrade from built-in laptop mics

This microphone replaces the low-quality microphones integrated into laptops or webcams when clearer speech pickup is needed. The jump is worth it for users who spend hours in meetings or gaming sessions and want reduced echo without configuring software. It adds a physical mute option that most internal mics lack.

Handles close-range speech, runs out at distance

The 70 dB sensitivity comfortably picks up a speaker seated at the desk for calls, streaming or voice commands. Background noise rejection helps in typical home offices, but the omnidirectional pattern still captures room ambience and keyboard clicks. It is not suited for recording instruments, podcasts with multiple hosts or any source farther than arm's length.

Questions about this item

Does the Kinobo 8541708509 need a separate power adapter or mount?

It draws power directly from the USB port and includes an adjustable desktop stand, so no external adapter or mounting hardware is required.

What is the installation step users most often miss on this plug-and-play mic?

After plugging the USB connector into a PC or Mac, you must select the Kinobo microphone as the active input device in your operating system sound settings or chat application.

What part of the Kinobo 8541708509 is most likely to need replacement over time?

The USB cable and connector endure repeated plugging and bending; if audio cuts out or becomes intermittent, replacing the microphone unit restores reliable operation.
