Stem Packing Assortment for faucet repair

This KISSLER assortment supplies replacement stem packing for bath faucet maintenance. It contains multiple sizes to match common stem dimensions found in residential plumbing. Professional plumbers and homeowners can address leaks without sourcing individual parts.

Inch-based sizing limits interchangeability

Packing dimensions are given in fractional inches such as 9/16 x 23/64 and 21/32 x 13/32. These exact measurements mean the rings only fit stems machined to those specifications. Metric stems or non-standard OEM sizes will not seal correctly with this kit.

Seventy pieces cover common wear points

The kit provides 12 pieces each of the two smallest sizes, 6 of the next size, and 10 pieces each of four larger sizes plus AM STD seals. This quantity handles several faucet rebuilds but runs out on large multi-unit jobs or uncommon stem profiles.

Questions about this item

Which stem packing sizes are included in this assortment?

The assortment includes 12 pieces of 9/16 x 23/64 in, 12 pieces of 21/32 x 13/32 in, 6 pieces of 23/32 x 27/64 in, and 10 pieces each of 47/64 x 3/8 in, 39/64 x 3/8 in, and 11/16 x 3/8 in, plus 10 AM STD seals.

What does the 9/16 x 23/64 in size cover in a real repair?

That size fits faucet stems with a 9/16 in outer diameter and a 23/64 in inner diameter, sealing the packing nut on many common bath faucets.

What does the AM STD seal designation mean for compatibility?

AM STD seals are manufactured to American Standard dimensions, so they match faucets built to that specification.
