Asteroid Mini Oven Mitt Set

The KitchenAid Asteroid Mini Oven Mitt Set includes two mitts sized 5.5 by 8 inches in pistachio green. They are made from 100 percent cotton that resists heat to protect hands when handling hot cookware. The set is designed for home cooks who need reliable hand protection during everyday kitchen tasks.

Thermals and everyday use

The cotton material shields hands from hot pots and pans during normal cooking. Textured heart-shaped silicone grips provide a more secure hold on cookware surfaces. The mitts are machine washable for simple cleaning after use.

What the set includes

The package contains two mini mitts so both hands are covered while moving hot dishes. Silicone print grips improve grip security compared to plain fabric. Machine-washable care means the mitts stay fresh without special handling.

Questions about this item

How do I put the mitts on, and what is the step people get wrong?

Slide your hand fully into the 5.5" x 8" cotton mitt so the silicone heart-shaped grips face outward; the common mistake is wearing them inside-out, which hides the textured grip.

What maintenance will these mitts need over time?

Machine wash them as needed; the 100 percent cotton and silicone print grips are designed for repeated washing without special treatment.

What limit appears first during sustained use with hot cookware?

The mini 5.5" x 8" size covers the hand but leaves the forearm exposed, so prolonged contact with very hot handles can transfer heat past the cuff.
