Wireless stereo receiver for installed audio

The Klark Teknik AIR LINK DW 20R receives 2.4 GHz digital audio from a separate DW 20T transmitter. It is intended for hospitality venues, retail spaces and home systems that need cable-free stereo playback. Multiple receivers can be deployed together to extend coverage across larger areas. The aluminium extrusion with rubber corners protects the electronics in permanent installations.

Sustained wireless operation at 100 feet

Digital 2.4 GHz connectivity maintains a stable link up to 100 feet (30 metres) without the drop-outs common in analogue systems. High headroom design preserves dynamic range during long sessions at full output. The articulating external antenna can be oriented for optimum reception in crowded RF environments. No frequency coordination is required beyond pairing with the transmitter.

Balanced and unbalanced outputs on Neutrik

Premium Neutrik XLR and 1/4" TRS jacks provide both balanced and unbalanced feeds to mixers, amplifiers or powered speakers. The rugged connector choice resists wear from repeated patching in commercial use. Rubber corners absorb impact when the unit is mounted on a rack shelf or placed on a stage floor. Buyers who need a transmitter included or who require Bluetooth or Wi-Fi streaming should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the DW 20R generate noticeable heat or fan noise when running continuously?

The aluminium extrusion casing with protective rubber corners provides passive cooling, so the receiver operates silently without a fan even during all-day use.

What transmitter must I already own for the DW 20R to work?

You need the separate DW 20T 2.4 GHz wireless transmitter; the receiver cannot function on its own.

Can I connect the DW 20R to my existing mixer using the XLR or 1/4" TRS outputs?

Yes, the unit provides premium Neutrik balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" TRS connectors for direct integration with legacy mixers or PA systems.
