Non-conductive fiberglass fish tape with multi-groove design for reduced friction and a 17-inch case enabling faster 200-foot retrieval
This 200-foot fiberglass fish tape is built for electricians pulling wire through long conduit runs. The non-conductive material adds protection when working near energized sources. Multiple molded grooves reduce friction so the tape feeds smoothly even in crowded conduit.
The 17-inch case diameter reels in 10 percent more tape per revolution compared with a 16-inch case. A unique sloped handle positions the hand for quick hand-over-hand rewinds and a level payout on the backswing. Raised fingergrips transfer 100 percent of winding power from hand and fingers.
The fiberglass construction handles 200-foot pulls in conduit with or without existing wires. Non-conductive properties prevent shock from energized sources during the job. The tape runs out when the conduit length exceeds the 200-foot capacity or when sharp bends exceed the material's flexibility.

The 17'' (432 mm) case diameter lets you reel in 10% more tape per revolution compared with a 16'' (406 mm) case, speeding up long pulls.
Hold the sloped handle so your hand sits level on the backswing; this keeps the tape feeding straight instead of twisting off the reel.
Replace the tape or tip if the fiberglass shows cracks, splintering, or if the eyelet is deformed, since damage compromises the non-conductive protection.
