Crimps and strips 10 to 22 AWG wire plus 1.25 to 6 mm ignition terminals with carbon-steel jaws and clear size markings
The Klein Tools ET-WC handles both crimping and stripping for solid and stranded conductors from 10 to 22 AWG. Its carbon-steel jaws also accept 1.25 mm to 6 mm ignition terminals. Clear size markings on the tool body let you select the correct aperture quickly.
Heavy-duty carbon steel reduces the grip pressure needed for each crimp, so repetitive tasks stay comfortable. The pivot action runs smoothly without sticking, keeping noise to a minimum during use. No external power or batteries are required.
Combining two functions in one pair of pliers cuts down on the number of tools you carry to the job site. The upgrade makes sense when you regularly switch between stripping insulation and crimping terminals on automotive or electrical wiring. Buyers who need dedicated high-volume applicators or specialised connector dies should look elsewhere.

Select the 1.25 mm die nest, insert the stripped wire fully into the terminal barrel, then squeeze the handles completely until the ratchet releases; partial closure leaves a loose crimp.
The carbon-steel cutting edges and the 25-pin ratchet pawl see the most friction; keep them clean and lightly oiled to extend service life.
Stripping 10 AWG solid copper repeatedly requires noticeably more hand force than smaller gauges, so fatigue becomes the practical limit first.
