It handles STP and UTP paired-conductor cables and accepts RJ11, RJ12 standard and RJ45 Pass-Thru connectors. The full-cycle ratchet mechanism ensures every crimp completes fully before release. Pass-Thru Connector Limitation

This crimper is designed specifically for Klein Tools RJ45 Pass-Thru connectors and standard RJ11 or RJ12 plugs. It will not terminate conventional closed-end RJ45 connectors because the Pass-Thru design requires wires to pass completely through the plug face. The tool trims conductors flush with the connector end face to prevent unintended contact. Compatibility is limited to the connector types listed in the specifications.
