KLIM K8 Portable Cassette Player

The KLIM K8 is a portable cassette player and recorder that includes F1 headphones. It plays and records standard audio cassettes using a built-in microphone and speaker. The unit also receives AM and FM radio stations. It is designed for listeners who want a self-contained analogue audio device for personal use.

Powered by AA Batteries or Mains Adapter

The player runs on AA batteries for mobile listening or from an AC-DC adapter for continuous indoor use. Battery life will vary with volume level and tape transport activity. There is no internal rechargeable cell, so spare batteries are needed for extended sessions away from a power socket. The 3.5 mm headphone jack accepts the supplied earphones or any standard wired headset.

Lightweight Design for Everyday Carry

Weighing 0.431 kilograms and measuring 4.9022 by 11.4046 by 24.1046 centimetres, the K8 fits in a bag or large pocket. It handles standard cassette playback and voice recording comfortably. It does not support auto-reverse, so the tape must be turned manually to hear the second side. Buyers who want Dolby noise reduction, metal-tape EQ or line-level outputs will not find those features here.
