A compact wireless subwoofer with a 12-in. driver reaching 26 Hz and 103.7 dB output for deep, room-filling bass
The Klipsch FLEXUS-20-SUB is a compact wireless 12-inch subwoofer built to add deep, impactful bass to a home entertainment system. It targets viewers who want movie nights, gaming campaigns and television binges to sound fuller without running cables across the room. The wireless link keeps placement flexible while the 12-inch driver handles the low-end weight.
A Class D amplifier drives the 12-inch woofer across a frequency response of 26Hz to 250Hz, reaching a maximum acoustic output of 103.7 dB. The design aims for low-latency wireless transmission so bass stays in sync with on-screen action. Simple setup means the subwoofer can start working minutes after it is positioned.
Each side of the enclosure measures 15.25 inches, giving a cube profile that fits beside furniture without dominating the space. A single USB-A input is provided on the rear panel for service or firmware updates. The wireless architecture removes the need for a dedicated subwoofer cable run, letting the owner place the unit wherever the bass response feels strongest.

Power on both units, then press the pairing button on the subwoofer rear panel; the LED will blink rapidly. The step often missed is holding that button for at least five seconds until the light turns solid, confirming the low-latency link is locked.
The Class D amplifier and 12-in. driver are sealed inside the 15.25-in. cube with no user-serviceable parts; the most likely long-term wear is the internal power supply capacitors. Keep ventilation clear around all sides and avoid sustained playback at the 103.7 dB maximum to extend their life.
The spec lists a max acoustic output of 103.7 dB; pushing near that level for extended periods will trigger the built-in protection limiter, reducing bass depth to prevent driver or amplifier damage.
