Klipsch Flexus Core 300 5.1.2 Sound Bar

The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 is a 5.1.2 channel sound bar finished in walnut and powered by Onkyo. It includes two elevation speakers and two side-firing drivers alongside four front-firing drivers for Dolby Atmos playback. The bundle adds a dedicated wall-mount kit compatible with the Core 300 and Core 200 models. A built-in cable opening on the rear keeps connections tidy for home cinema or gaming setups.

Installation and common issues

The sound bar measures 54 inches wide and the mount package weighs 4 pounds with dimensions of 23 inches high by 7 inches wide by 7 inches long. HDMI eARC, optical, RCA, USB-C and USB-A ports provide multiple source connections, while Bluetooth allows wireless streaming. A remote control is included for operation. Ensure the mounting surface can support the combined weight and that HDMI eARC is enabled on the television for full audio passthrough.

Sustained-load behaviour

Dirac Live room correction scans the listening space and applies precise equalisation that remains stable during extended movie or gaming sessions. The driver array delivers a maximum acoustic output of 106dB without compression artefacts during loud passages. Onkyo amplification maintains consistent power delivery across all 5.1.2 channels over long periods, preventing thermal throttling that can reduce dynamics in lesser designs.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the sound bar is delivering its full 5.1.2 channel performance after connecting it?

Confirm the Dolby Atmos indicator lights on the sound bar, run the built-in Dirac Live room correction using the supplied microphone, then play Atmos test content and listen for distinct overhead effects from the two elevation drivers and wide imaging from the two side-firing drivers.

The bundle lists a sound bar and a mount — are the wireless subwoofer and surround speakers included or sold separately?

The bundle contains only the Flexus Core 300 sound bar and the Flexus 300 wall mount; the wireless subwoofer and surround speakers are separate add-ons that must be purchased separately to complete a full 5.1.2 system.

Should I choose the Walnut or Ebony finish for the Core 300 sound bar?

Both finishes share identical 5.1.2 channel layout, 106 dB maximum acoustic output, 2.25-inch drivers, HDMI eARC, Bluetooth and Dirac Live room correction; select the Walnut or Ebony colour that best matches your room décor.
