Knipex Cable Stripper 1" Capacity

The Knipex 16 40 150 cable stripper handles stranded electrical cables larger than 25 mm. It is built for electricians who need a manual tool with an adjustable cutting depth up to 5.0 mm. A replaceable double-sided blade extends the working life.

Stripping Capacity and Cutting Limits

Stripping capacity covers cables greater than 25 mm with a maximum cutting capacity of 1 in. The cutting depth adjusts up to 5.0 mm for precise insulation removal. It runs out on cables smaller than the stated minimum or when a powered stripping machine is required for high-volume work.

Upgrade From Basic Strippers

This tool replaces fixed-blade strippers that lack depth adjustment and cannot handle large-diameter cables. The jump is worth it when you regularly dismantle stranded wires above 25 mm and need a replaceable blade to maintain cut quality over time.
