Built for Sony Walkman A50/A55/A56/A57

The Knox Gear hardshell case fits the Sony NW-A55 and the NW-A50, NW-A56, NW-A57 and their HN variants. A 1.4 mm screen lip and 2.8 mm body thickness shield the display and chassis. A lanyard cutout keeps the player tethered during transport.

For owners who prioritise drop protection

Walkman users who want 100 % shockproof defence against accidental drops, splashes and dust will appreciate the rugged shell. Buyers needing waterproof submersion rating, integrated battery power or a belt clip should look at something else.

Rubberised buttons stay responsive over time

The raised rubber button covers absorb repeated presses without stiffening or losing tactility. The hard polycarbonate shell distributes impact energy across its surface so the player internals remain intact after sustained daily knocks.

Questions about this item

Does the case require any extra parts to protect my NW-A55?

No extra parts are needed; the hardshell snaps onto the NW-A55 and covers the screen with a 1.4 mm raised lip while adding 2.8 mm of overall thickness for drop protection.

Will the rubberised button covers still let me control an older NW-A50 that I keep as a backup?

Yes, the case fits the NW-A50 and the responsive rubberised buttons give full control access without removing the player.

How can I confirm the lanyard cutout lines up correctly after I put the case on?

Attach a lanyard through the cutout; if it threads cleanly and the player sits flush with the 1.4 mm screen lip and 2.8 mm side walls, the case is seated properly.
