Kobo Clara Colour/BW SleepCover Cobalt Blue

The Kobo Clara Colour/BW SleepCover in Cobalt Blue is a protective case designed specifically for the Kobo Clara Colour and Kobo Clara BW eReaders. It uses recycled materials to shield the device from everyday wear. The cover adds a personal colour choice while keeping the eReader secure.

Sleep/wake magnetic sensor limits

The case relies on a magnetic sleep/wake sensor that automatically wakes the eReader when opened and puts it to sleep when closed. This function works only when the cover is fully closed and aligned with the device's sensor area. It does not replace the eReader's manual power controls or settings.

Snap-on installation and fit issues

The cover snaps onto the eReader without tools or adhesives. Misalignment during fitting can prevent the sleep/wake feature from triggering. The case fits only the Kobo Clara Colour and Kobo Clara BW; it will not fit other Kobo models or 6-inch eReaders from other brands.

Questions about this item

Which colour option should I pick for my Kobo Clara Colour?

The Cobalt Blue Basic SleepCover is one of five colours — Black, Misty Green, Candy Pink, Cayenne Red, and Cobalt Blue — all fit both the Kobo Clara Colour and Kobo Clara BW exactly.

How does the sleep/wake feature affect daily battery life?

Opening the cover wakes the eReader instantly and closing it puts the device to sleep, so the battery only drains while you are actually reading.

Will this case work with any other Kobo model?

No, the Basic SleepCover with part number N365-AC-BL-O-PU is designed exclusively for the 6-inch Kobo Clara Colour and Kobo Clara BW.
