Sheet-fed scanner captures up to 70 pages per minute at 600 dpi optical resolution with SurePath paper handling and active feed technology
The Kodak Alaris S2070 is a sheetfed document scanner designed for mid-to-high volume capture in office and distributed environments. Dual CIS sensors with RGB LED illumination deliver 600 dpi optical resolution for accurate OCR and image quality. It connects via USB 3.1 Gen 1 and supports Windows, Linux, and Citrix platforms.
At 200 and 300 dpi the scanner reaches 70 pages per minute or 140 images per minute in duplex. Long-document mode extends the maximum length to 8.50" x 118.00" for continuous forms. Active feed and SurePath paper handling reduce misfeeds and jams across mixed batches.
The USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 hosts. Throughput scales with the host controller; USB 2.0 ports will restrict sustained scan rates. Power draw stays below 36 watts while scanning and below 3 watts in sleep.

The scanner's USB 3.1 Gen1 interface is compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, so it will operate on older connections at the slower standard's speed.
Check the scanner driver settings to confirm 600 dpi optical resolution is selected, then time a batch at 200 or 300 dpi to see if throughput approaches 70 ppm or 140 ipm.
Dimensions are listed both with and without the input tray, indicating it is supplied; the output tray is also included, so no separate tray purchase is required.
