What this cable does and who needs it

A two-pack of USB-C to USB-C cables rated for 60 W power delivery and 480 Mbps data transfer. Each cord is 3 ft long, braided in nylon, and built with an extra-long reinforced joint for durability. A smart safety chip handles overcharge, overcurrent, short-circuit and thermal protection. The set suits phone owners who want a spare for home, office or car use.

Sustained-load behaviour

The cable maintains its 60 W rating during continuous charging sessions without triggering device warnings. The smart chip automatically switches to trickle mode once the battery nears full, preventing overnight overheating. Braided construction and the extended strain relief resist wear from repeated bending in tight vehicle mounts. Data transfer stays steady at up to 480 Mbps throughout the session.

What it replaces and when to upgrade

This set replaces worn single cables that no longer hold a secure connection or that limit charging to lower wattages. The jump is worthwhile when you need reliable 60 W fast charging plus CarPlay and Android Auto support in a tangle-free braided design. Buyers who need longer reach or higher data throughput should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 60 W cable get warm when it charges a phone at full speed for hours?

The built-in smart safety chip provides overheat protection and switches to trickle charge overnight, so the cable stays cool during extended 60 W sessions.

Which port must my charger have to deliver the 60 W rating?

You need a USB-C power adapter that supports 20 V at 3 A; the cable itself is USB-C to USB-C and handles up to 60 W.

Will this cable work with my Galaxy S21 for CarPlay in a 2026 vehicle?

Yes, the cable supports CarPlay and Android Auto and is listed as compatible with the Galaxy S21.
