Kodak P79 Instant Print Camera Kit

The Kodak P79 is a purple instant-print camera kit designed for children aged three to sixteen. It combines a 2.4-inch screen, dual front and rear lenses, and thermal printing that produces black-and-white photos without toner or BPA. The kit includes a 32 GB SD card and print paper so shooting can start straight away.

Suits families wanting a simple creative toy

The camera suits younger users who enjoy immediate physical prints, simple games, frames and filters, and an MP3 player in one handheld device. It is not for buyers who need high-resolution colour output, manual exposure control, interchangeable lenses, or connectivity features such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for phone transfer.

32 GB card stores over 6000 images

The supplied 32 GB card holds more than 6000 pictures, giving plenty of headroom for daily use and long trips. The rechargeable battery supports three to four hours of continuous shooting before needing a USB top-up. Thermal paper rolls will run out first, so extra packs are needed for heavy printing sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the P79 kit include a memory card so the camera can store photos right away?

Yes, the kit comes with a 32GB SD card that can hold more than 6000 pictures.

Will the 2.4-inch screen let my child review shots taken with an older point-and-shoot that only records 720p?

The P79 records 1080P video and displays it on its own 2.4-inch screen; it does not play files from other cameras.

How can I confirm the thermal printer is working after I load the paper roll?

Press the print button — a black-and-white photo should appear in about 0.0005 seconds using the grayscale or dot-matrix mode.
