Versatile Bridge Camera

The Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 is a bridge-style digital camera designed for photographers who want extensive reach without changing lenses. Its 52x optical zoom covers wide landscapes and distant subjects in a single package. Built-in Wi‑Fi allows quick transfer of images to a smart device for sharing or backup. The midnight blue finish gives it a distinctive look.

Efficient Everyday Operation

The camera uses a BSI‑CMOS sensor to capture 16 megapixel stills and 1080p video with modest power consumption. In typical shooting scenarios the system runs quietly, keeping mechanical noise to a minimum so audio recordings stay clean. Battery life supports extended outings without frequent recharging. Heat remains low during continuous use.

Ready for Creative Builds

A standard tripod mount lets you stabilise long‑zoom shots or compose time‑lapse sequences. The electronic viewfinder and tilting LCD provide flexible framing options in bright sunlight or awkward angles. An SD card slot accepts common memory cards for ample storage. Users who need interchangeable lenses or raw capture should consider a different system.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 on a tripod and what step is often missed?

Align the camera base with the tripod plate and tighten the screw firmly; the step often missed is checking that the battery and memory card doors remain fully accessible after mounting.

What maintenance or replacement will the Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 need over time?

Recharge or replace the lithium-ion battery when it no longer holds a full charge, and format or replace the SD card if write errors appear during 1080p recording.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 52x optical zoom on the AZ528?

At full 52x extension the aperture narrows, so image stabilisation and available light become the limiting factors for sharp 16MP stills and steady 1080p video.
