What you get

The Koss KPH7 is a lightweight over-the-head headphone designed for portable listening. It connects with a wired cable so there is no battery to charge. The black finish keeps the look simple for everyday use. It suits commuters, students and anyone who wants a basic personal audio solution.

Capacity and headroom

The wired connection delivers a consistent signal without the drop-outs that can affect wireless models. It handles music, podcasts and voice calls from any device with a standard headphone jack. There is no internal amplifier or digital processing, so performance scales directly with the source output. Buyers who want active noise cancellation or wireless freedom should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power

Passive operation means the headphones generate no heat and draw no power from the source device. The open construction avoids the pressure build-up that some closed designs create during long sessions. No fan, motor or electronic circuit is present, so mechanical noise is absent. The only sound you hear is the audio you play.
