Ultra-lightweight sport ear-clip headphones

The Koss KSC22I is a wired behind-the-neck headphone weighing 0.2 units. Soft pliable clips wrap around the ears to eliminate a traditional headband. An in-line microphone with one-touch control handles calls and playback. A straight dual-entry cord terminates in a 3.5 mm plug for wide device compatibility.

Active users wanting secure fit without headband

Walkers runners and riders who need headphones that stay in place during movement will benefit from the Sport Clip design. Listeners who prefer over-ear isolation or wireless freedom should look at other styles because this model uses a wired connection and ear-clip fit.

Frequency response of 60 to 20000 Hz

The dynamic elements deliver a frequency response of 60 to 20000 Hz at 16 ohms impedance and 98 dB sensitivity. This range determines whether the tonal balance matches the music genres or podcast content you listen to most.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to use them?

The package includes the KSC22I sport-clip headphones with attached 4 ft dual-entry cable ending in a 3.5 mm plug. No battery or separate adapter is required; just plug into any device with a standard headphone jack.

Which version should I pick if I want the model with the in-line microphone?

This KSC22I model already has a 1-touch in-line microphone built into the cord, so there is no separate mic-less variant to choose.

What does the 98 dB sensitivity rating mean for everyday volume?

At 98 dB sensitivity and 16 ohms impedance, the headphones reach loud listening levels easily from a phone or portable player without needing an external amplifier.
