Ear-hook headphones for portable use

The Koss KSC7 is a lightweight ear-hook headphone designed for on-ear listening. It connects through a 3.5 mm plug and presents a 32 ohm impedance suitable for portable devices. The driver covers a 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range.

Suited to casual listeners, not critical monitoring

These headphones suit buyers who want a simple clip-on fit for music or calls on the move. They are not for users who need active noise cancellation, a detachable cable or a closed-back design for isolation.

3.5 mm connector decides compatibility

The single 3.5 mm (1/8 in.) connector determines whether this headphone works with your source device. If your equipment lacks a 3.5 mm jack, an adapter will be required.

Questions about this item

What is the first limitation reached when the 32 ohm drivers are driven continuously at high volume?

The 20 kHz upper frequency response limits the treble detail you can hear during long listening sessions.

How much heat or noise do the on-ear pads produce after hours of use?

Passive drivers generate no electrical noise and the ear-pad design stays cool because there is no active circuitry.

Which source device must I already own to connect the 3.5 mm plug?

Any player or phone with a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack will work immediately.
