Classic On-Ear Design

The Koss TM-602 is a lightweight supra-aural headphone with a 32 ohm impedance and 100 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response. It connects via a standard 3.5 mm wired plug and weighs 0.15 kg. The adjustable headband and foam cushions provide an open, hear-through sound signature suited for portable daily listening.

Check Your Device

Verify your source has a 3.5 mm analogue output jack before ordering. The 4 foot straight dual-entry cable is non-detachable and requires no battery or software driver. Ensure the 32 ohm load matches your player’s headphone amplifier capability for proper volume levels.

Ideal For Wired Simplicity

This model suits listeners who want zero-latency stereo audio without wireless pairing or charging. Buyers needing active noise cancellation, a detachable cable, microphone, or wireless freedom should look at something else. The open ear coupling also leaks sound, so it is less suited for quiet environments.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the TM-602 and is anything else needed to use it?

The package includes the headphones with a permanently attached 4 ft straight cord ending in a 3.5 mm plug. No extra cable, adapter or battery is required for wired stereo playback.

The specs list 32 Ω impedance and 88 dB sensitivity — which source devices will drive them properly?

The 32 Ω load and 88 dB/mW sensitivity are a good match for smartphones, laptops, tablets and portable players; they reach comfortable volume without a dedicated amplifier.

The frequency response is quoted as 100 Hz–18 kHz — what does that mean for everyday listening?

It covers the core musical range from low bass fundamentals up to high treble detail, so vocals, instruments and podcasts sound balanced, though sub-bass below 100 Hz will roll off.
