Silver Super Duty Tarp 10x12

The Kotap TRS1012 is a silver poly tarpaulin measuring 10 ft by 12 ft. It is built for heavy-duty outdoor covering tasks such as protecting equipment, firewood or construction materials. The 10 mil gauge and 14x14 weave provide strong tear resistance. Buyers who need a larger footprint or a different colour should look elsewhere.

Installation and common issues

The tarp includes plastic corner sleeves that accept rope or bungee cords for tie-down. Lay the sheet flat, thread lines through each sleeve and tension evenly to avoid wind pockets. A frequent mistake is pulling one corner too tight, which stresses the weave and can cause premature rips at the edges.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that the 10 by 12 foot dimensions cover the intended area with enough overhang for secure anchoring. Confirm you have suitable anchor points such as grommets, stakes or frame pipes spaced to match the corner sleeves. Ensure the silver colour meets any local reflectivity or aesthetic requirements.
