The KOZYFOX TCBS-10 is a desktop device that produces sound through an adjustable electric arc. It accepts Bluetooth audio from a phone or computer and doubles as a visual science demonstration. The unit measures 10.6 by 10.6 by 6 centimetres and weighs 0.9 kilogram.

Arc audio limited to square wave output

The speaker generates sound by modulating a high-voltage arc up to 10 centimetres long. Audio fidelity is restricted to square wave music, so complex recordings will not reproduce accurately. Power draw ranges from 0 to 100 watts across a 110 to 220 volt, 50 or 60 hertz supply. It cannot play standard audio formats without distortion.

Plug in, pair, and keep clear of the arc

Setup requires only the included power adapter and a Bluetooth pairing step; no grounding wire or audio cable is needed. A rotary switch adjusts arc length.
