A 1 kg silk PLA bundle of four 250 g spools in dual colour combinations, 1.75 mm ± .02 mm for 99 % of FDM printers at 190–230 °C
This set contains four 250 g spools of dual-colour silk PLA filament in Rose and Blue, Red and Gold, Violet and Green, and Blue and Green. The total net weight is one kilogram, giving hobbyists and educators a compact palette for decorative prints without committing to full-size reels. Each spool is individually vacuum sealed to keep moisture out until it is opened.
The filament prints reliably at nozzle temperatures between 190 °C and 230 °C and supports print speeds from 30 to 300 mm/s. Diameter tolerance is held to 1.75 mm ± 0.02 mm, which the maker rates as compatible with 99 % of FDM printers. The formulation aims to reduce nozzle clogging and improve layer bonding for consistent extrusion.
The silk coating produces a high-gloss surface that shifts colour with viewing angle, suited to display models, gifts and artwork. Vacuum packing means spools stay dry on the shelf, so users can open one colour while the others wait. No heated enclosure or specialised build surface is mentioned, so the material behaves like standard PLA in everyday use.

Mount each 250g spool on the holder, feed the filament through the guide tube into the extruder, and set the nozzle temperature between 190 °C and 230 °C; the step many miss is pre‑heating the hot end fully before inserting the filament so the dual‑color transition feeds smoothly without grinding.
Each 250g spool is consumed as you print; once a colour runs out you simply replace that spool — no printer parts wear out from this filament, and the vacuum‑sealed packaging keeps the remaining spools dry until needed.
The practical limit is the 250g per spool — a single colour combination will run out before the printer hits any mechanical constraint, so plan multi‑colour jobs around the 1kg total bundle weight.
