Kupo 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 brass adapter

This solid brass adapter converts a 3/8"-16 male thread into a 1/4"-20 female thread. It lets photographers and videographers connect lighting heads, brackets or accessories that use the smaller 1/4"-20 mount to stands or gear with the larger 3/8"-16 fitting. The compact design adds minimal height to the rig. Model number 8912 identifies this black studio version.

Check your threads before ordering

Verify that the device you want to mount has a 1/4"-20 female socket and that the support you are attaching to provides a 3/8"-16 female thread. If your equipment uses a different thread pitch or diameter, this adapter will not create a secure connection. Buyers needing to convert in the opposite direction or to join two male threads should look for a different coupler.
