Studio grip adapter

The Kupo 5/8in Baby Receiver to 3/8in Stud connects smaller 3/8in lights and grip gear to larger 5/8in light-stand studs. It accepts either vertical or horizontal mounting for flexible rigging. Solid metal construction and an aluminium casting knob with a moulded-in steel bolt provide a secure lock. The spring-loaded knob adds extra tension during setup.

Capacity and headroom

The adapter bridges the common 5/8in baby receiver to a 3/8in stud so lighter fixtures, arms or clamps mount directly on standard stands. It handles the weight of typical on-camera lights, small LED panels and lightweight modifiers. Heavier heads or large softboxes exceed the 3/8in stud's load limit and require a larger receiver.

Bundled hardware

The knurled aluminium knob with its captive steel bolt is the only included component; it replaces a separate wing nut or spanner.
