Secure Drop-Ceiling Mount for Studio Lighting
The Kupo D302012 Baby Drop Ceiling Mount provides a dedicated attachment point for lighting fixtures on standard suspended-ceiling grids. It is built for photographers and videographers who need overhead positioning without permanent structural work. The 16 mm baby receiver accepts industry-standard spigots and studs used across professional grip equipment.
Steel and Aluminium Construction with Locking Knob
A steel and aluminium receiver body resists deformation under load while keeping the assembly light enough for ceiling tiles. The integrated metal locking knob tightens against the grid cross-tee to prevent lateral drift or accidental release during long sessions. Installation requires no tools beyond hand-tightening the knob onto the T-bar profile.
Replaces Improvised Clamps and Floor Stands
This mount removes the need for C-stands, sandbags or makeshift grid clamps that can slip or consume floor space. The upgrade is worth it when a shoot demands clean sight-lines, rapid fixture relocation along the grid, or a permanent studio rig that stays aligned between sessions.
