Professional instrument cable for stage and studio

This 15-foot cable connects electric guitars, basses, keyboards and other gear with 1/4-inch jacks. The heavy-gauge 20AWG Oxygen-Free Copper core carries the full frequency range with clarity. A 99% coverage braided shield blocks RFI and EMI interference. Gold and black tweed woven jacket resists tangles and stands up to daily professional use.

Shielding and conductor quality keep the signal

The high-density pure copper braid provides 99% coverage to eliminate handling noise and external interference. Oxygen-Free Copper conductor reduces resistance for accurate signal transfer. All-metal nickel-plated plugs are hand-soldered with robust strain relief for reliable contact. Woven jacket adds mechanical protection without stiffening the cable.

Straight-to-straight plugs fit standard instrument

The 15-foot length gives freedom of movement on stage or in the studio. Tweed jacket resists kinking when coiled for transport. Nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion over repeated plugging cycles. Not suited for balanced line-level runs or speaker-level connections. Builders needing right-angle plugs or multi-pair snakes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1/4" straight-to-straight plugs on the 15-foot cable without damaging the solder joints?

Insert each plug fully until the barrel seats firmly; the all-metal nickel-plated housings and built-in strain relief protect the hand-soldered connections from bending stress during plugging and unplugging.

What maintenance will the 99% braided shield and 20AWG OFC conductor need over time?

Wipe the gold-and-black tweed jacket with a dry cloth after gigs; the dense copper braid and oxygen-free copper core require no internal service unless the jacket or a plug is physically damaged.

At what point does the 15-foot length start to roll off high frequencies on stage?

Capacitance increases with length, so the 15-foot run may begin to attenuate treble slightly compared with shorter cables, especially with high-impedance passive pickups.
