High-Gain 2.4 GHz Antenna

This 9 dBi omnidirectional antenna extends wireless range for IEEE 802.11 b, g and n networks, Bluetooth and other 2.4 GHz applications. The flexible rubber-duck form factor suits access points, routers, radios and wireless video receivers needing broader coverage than standard supplied antennas.

Upgrade From Stock Antennas

The 9 dBi gain delivers noticeably stronger signal reach compared with typical low-gain stock antennas on access points or wireless bridges. The improvement is most valuable when the link must cross longer distances or penetrate obstacles in point-to-point or point-to-multipoint setups.

RP-SMA Tilt-Swivel Connector

A reverse-polarity SMA plug with tilt-and-swivel action lets the 15.1 inch whip sit vertical, horizontal or at any intermediate angle. This flexibility simplifies cable routing inside enclosures or on masts and clears nearby ports without forcing the antenna into a single fixed orientation.

Questions about this item

What connector does the 15.1" antenna use to attach to my device?

It uses a reverse-polarity SMA plug that tilts and swivels for vertical or right-angle positioning.

How do I install the antenna so the tilt-and-swivel joint stays secure?

Hand-tighten the RP-SMA plug until the connector seats fully, then rotate the flexible shaft to the desired angle without forcing the joint.

Will the 9 dBi gain degrade over time and require replacement?

The coaxial sleeve design is passive and has no active components, so gain remains stable unless the flexible radome is physically damaged.
