Two-Hole Conduit Strap

The DOTTIE HW404 is a zinc-plated steel strap designed to secure 1-1/4 inch conduit or pipe runs. It provides a rigid mounting point for electrical installations in commercial or residential settings.

For Standard Pipe Mounting

This strap suits electricians and contractors fastening rigid conduit to structural surfaces. It is not intended for flexible tubing, cable bundles, or installations requiring single-hole or adjustable brackets.

Zinc-Plated Steel Construction

The steel body with zinc plating resists corrosion in damp or outdoor locations. The two-hole pattern ensures stable alignment without additional hardware beyond standard fasteners.

Questions about this item

What size conduit must I already have for the HW404 strap to fit?

The HW404 strap is made for 1-1/4 in conduit, so you need that exact size pipe for it to work.

Will the zinc-plated steel strap hold up if I mount it next to older galvanized conduit?

Yes, the zinc-plated steel resists corrosion and is compatible with existing galvanized conduit installations.

How can I confirm the HW404 strap is installed correctly after tightening the two holes?

The conduit should sit firmly without movement when you pull on it, and both mounting screws must be fully seated in the strap holes.
