Two-pack dimmable accent lights

The L LOHAS LED A-GY-279-02US-2 set includes two plug-in night lights with a minimalist black plastic finish. Each unit draws 7.5 watts at 120 volts and uses an integrated LED source. The shade measures 1.77 by 2.67 by 6.69 inches and does not obstruct the adjacent wall outlet. The lights are intended for indoor use only.

Suited for low-level ambient lighting

These units suit bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms and kitchens where automatic dusk-to-dawn operation is wanted. The rotatable plug fits both vertical and horizontal sockets. Buyers who need continuous dimming between the three preset steps of 10, 50 and 100 lumens should look at other options. The fixed warm colour temperature also limits use where cool or tunable white light is required.

Three-step dimming with light sensor

Brightness is adjusted through a built-in dimmer offering 10, 50 and 100 lumen settings rather than a continuous range. An ambient light sensor switches the fixture on at dusk and off at dawn without manual intervention. This combination of discrete dimming levels and automatic control is the specification that determines whether the product matches the installation requirements.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 1.77 in x 2.67 in x 6.69 in shade need so it won't block the second outlet?

The slim 1.77 in depth keeps the unit close to the wall, leaving the adjacent outlet free for another plug.

What is the correct way to rotate the 330° plug for a horizontal socket, and what mistake should I avoid?

Turn the plug gently until it locks at the desired angle; forcing it past the 330° stop can damage the internal contacts.

When will the built-in LED need replacement, given the 7.5 W rating and 10/50/100 lumen settings?

The integrated LED is rated for tens of thousands of hours; at typical night-light use it will last years before any service is required.
