La-Z-Boy Woodbury Executive Chair

The La-Z-Boy 48963A Woodbury is a mid-back executive chair finished in black bonded leather. It features the patented ComfortCore Plus memory foam seat construction for sustained support during long work sessions. Wood arms and base receive a PU coating for added durability. The chair supports users up to 300 lbs.

Suited for executive and management roles

This chair suits professionals who want a traditional executive look with padded closed-loop arms and a mid-back profile. Buyers who need a high-back design for full upper-back support or a mesh seat for active cooling should look at other options. The fixed arm style also limits adjustability for users who prefer movable or removable armrests.

Standard office chair assembly required

Installation follows typical executive chair steps: attach the base, gas lift, seat mechanism and backrest using the supplied hardware. The cable-actuated seat plate handles height adjustment and tilt function once built. A common issue is overlooking the tilt tension knob beneath the seat, which must be set to match the user's weight for smooth reclining.
