LaCrosse 200CXL Classic Raincoat Detachable Hood PVC Polyester .35mm personal protective equipment

What this raincoat is and who it serves

The LaCrosse 200CXL Classic Raincoat is a new piece of personal protective equipment built from .35mm PVC bonded to a polyester backing. The yellow waterproof shell reaches 49 inches in length on a large size and includes a snap front, wrist take-up snaps, a detachable hood with drawstring, two front patch pockets, a ventilated cape back and underarm air vents. It is tested to ASTM F903 for liquid penetration resistance.

What to check on your existing setup before ordering

Confirm that the 49-inch length suits your torso and intended range of motion. Verify that the .35mm PVC-on-polyester weight matches the climate and activity level you expect. Ensure the snap front and wrist take-up snaps can be operated while wearing any gloves you normally use. Check that the detachable hood’s drawstring adjustment meets your coverage needs.

What this replaces and when the jump is worth it

This coat replaces lighter disposable ponchos or uncoated nylon shells that soak through or tear under abrasion. The upgrade is worth it when you need tested liquid penetration resistance, a rugged polyester-backed shell that survives repeated wear, and ventilation features that reduce heat build-up during extended shifts. It is not for buyers who need insulated cold-weather protection or high-visibility reflective striping.
