Magnetic antenna mount with 12 ft cable

The Laird GB8UFMEFI is a 3/4 inch style magnetic mount base supplied without a rubber boot. It comes with a 12 foot RG58U cable that has an FME female crimp connector already installed. The assembly is intended for vehicle roof mounting where a temporary, non-permanent antenna attachment is required. New condition from Laird Technologies.

Sustained outdoor exposure and vibration

The magnetic base holds the antenna in position during normal driving, while the RG58U cable carries the signal to the radio equipment. Continuous vibration, temperature cycling and moisture exposure are the typical long-term stresses on this type of mount. The crimped FME connection remains secure if the cable is routed without sharp bends or tension. Buyers needing a permanent through-hole mount or a different connector type should consider other options.
