The LANDTEK AM4838 measures wind speed and air temperature for technicians who install, debug or repair refrigeration systems, ventilation ducts and environmental monitors. It also serves navigation, weather-forecasting and fire-department crews collecting outdoor weather data. The handheld tester fits in a tool bag and runs on a single 9V battery.

Wind-Speed Range 0.4 to 30.0 m/s

The instrument reads air velocity from 0.4 up to 30.0 m/s, covering 1.4 to 108.0 km/h, 80 to 5910 ft/min and 0.8 to 59.3 knots. Stated accuracy is 2%n+2d and resolution is 0.1 or 1 depending on the selected unit. An LCD shows the live value and a low-battery indicator warns before the 6F22 cell dies.

Temperature Span -10 to 60 °C for Duct

The probe senses from -10 °C to 60 °C (14 °F to 140 °F), letting you verify supply-air temperature in refrigeration plant or ambient conditions on site.
